Auction Nineteen

WESTERN AMERICANA

On Wednesday, October 18, 2006, Dorothy Sloan--Rare Books will conduct an auction in Cody, Wyoming, to benefit The Buffalo Bill Historical Center.  Ten per cent of the hammer price will be donated to the Center.   The material consists of high spots of Western Americana, the Southwest and Borderlands, Texas, and Ranching. The sale will be preceded by two days of exhibition.  The auction will be conducted in two sessions (10am and 2pm). In conjunction with this auction, the McCracken Research Library will also be holding a dinner at the Buffalo Bill Historical Center on Wednesday, October 18, at 6pm. Tickets are $75.
