Chicago, 1907. Wax-engraved map in full-line coloring, neat line to neat line: 77 x 57.3 cm; map & portraits: 88.4 x 70 cm; overall sheet size: 89.5 x 71.2 cm. Very fine, with exceptionally vivid full coloring, borders and boundaries in bright red. Uncommon.

     Presented is early twentieth-century Texas, the majority of the state now densely sprinkled with cities, towns, roads, and railroads. Although a good deal of the empty spaces are now filled, the Panhandle, parts of West Texas, the Trans-Pecos West, and far South Texas retain some breathing room.
