Privately published and very scarce. First edition. Not in standard sources. Rawlings (1891-1964) and his family settled in Wyoming at the turn of the century, and the author engaged in ranching, agriculture, and banking, the latter in association with the Ranchester State Bank in Montana. The author gathered many oral histories from old-timers and presents a well-rounded history with much social history not found elsewhere. He includes material on Custer. ($200-400)
