Very fine in fine d.j. with a few marginal nicks. Presentation inscribed to Frank Tritico from Louis Lenz. Scarce.

     First edition, limited edition (#257 of 400 copies signed by the author). Basic Texas Books 42n. Howes H485. Nothing can compare with Dienst’s 1909 classic scholarly work on the Texas Navy, but Hill’s book builds on Dienst. Foreword by Col. Theodore Roosevelt, Jr.
