Pingenot: Braman covers twenty-five Texas counties and provides valuable information concerning sheep and cattle raising, taxation, legal rights of married women, etc. Also contains material on Texas Revolution land claims and other valuable data on the Republic of Texas and early statehood. Braman was a resident of Matagorda.
