Autograph poem ("John Burroughs") signed by Markham (1 p., 8vo, on stationery of the Union League, Chicago), 4 etchings, 3 signed by Wall. Brown and green inks. 28.5 x 21 cm. (11-1/4 x 8-1/4 inches), wove paper, tissue guards. Original hand-bound black cloth over grey paper-covered boards, gilt title on spine.

     A unique memento gathered and bound by Wall, with the autograph manuscript of Markham's poem in tribute of John Burroughs, a large etched portrait of Markham, the etched text of Miles M. Dawson's tribute to Markham, a large etched portrait of John Borroughs with Markham's tribute etched below, and Wall's etched printer's illustrated device. Wall has added a typewritten title-page and a typewritten explanatory leaf ("Note by B.W."). 70000028
