Various colored inks. 24.5 x 18 cm. (9-1/2 x 7 inches), laid paper, tissue guards (Volumes 1 & 2), wove paper (Volume 3), mostly wove (Volume 4). 4 volumes, original hand-bound cloth over mottled paper-covered boards (Volumes 1 & 2, dark green over teal; Volume 3, brown over grey; Volume 4, dark green over green), all with etched labels (illustrating etching techniques and Wall's studio) on upper covers. Wall's signed presentation copies to Edwin H. Foreman, with inscriptions on front free endpaper of each volume.

     Limited edition (#8 of 250 signed copies). Weber, p. 55: "In the final issue of Wall's Etched Monthly...Bernhardt Wall announced that his journal 'will have a successor—a child born of experience.' He said that his friends had 'importuned us to continue in the periodical field.' In the new format, the etcher would 'be able to give more time and care to the Quarterly which will be issued every third month with about fifty pages.'" Four of the etchings are by other artists, including Duncan Gleason and E. Irving Couse. Contents to first issue calls for two illustrated plates (Aged Cheyenne and In New Mexico) which are not present.
