First edition and a unique copy of the authors first book. Pingenot: The front free endpaper contains a full-page essay in the authors hand, entitled "Genesis of Quicksilver," wherein he relates the interesting circumstances that led him to write a book which might not otherwise have been written. Signed by Ragsdale and dated Feb., 1977. Any book of narrative history with details of its provenance in the authors hand is uncommon to say the least.
